Pelbliss is a wedding vendor marketplace built on three parts working together: vendor discovery at the core, a wedding website builder that brings couples in early, and a vendor platform where businesses manage the profiles couples actually discover them through. As sole designer, I shaped discovery as the main product, the website builder as its entry point, and the vendor platform as the engine that makes discovery possible in the first place.

THE CHALLENGE
THE CHALLENGE
Wedding planning starts long before anyone's ready to book a vendor couples show up wanting to dream and plan, not transact. If Pelbliss opened with just a vendor directory, most would bounce before trusting the platform enough to stay.
The real value, though, lives in discovery and bookings. The website builder couldn't become the main event it needed to earn couples' attention, then hand them into browsing and comparing vendors.
None of that works without the vendor platform behind it. Every profile exists because a vendor filled it in and trusted the platform enough to represent their business. Designing for vendors meant a different job entirely: not "help me plan a wedding," but "help me run mine."

Building a website is fast and guided fill in details, pick a template giving couples an early win and a reason to create an account. From there, they're pointed toward discovery: search, browse, compare, book.
Vendor profiles stay structured and consistent; same layout, same fields so couples can compare quickly and trust what they see. The builder stays simple on purpose: just enough to bring couples into the part of the platform that matters most.
That structure works in reverse too. The vendor platform is where vendors edit their details, pricing, and services; feeding directly into the profiles couples browse. The easier it is for vendors to keep things accurate, the more trustworthy discovery feels on the other side.
