Giving GetEquity's website a personality for every product it ships

Giving GetEquity's website a personality for every product it ships

OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

GetEquity was growing fast; new products, new features, more reasons for people to trust them with their money. But the website hadn't kept pace. It needed to feel as multi-dimensional as the platform had become, without losing the people who already knew it. I led the redesign of the website end to end, using color and structure to give each part of the product its own identity inside one cohesive story.

THE CHALLENGE

THE CHALLENGE

Redesigning GetEquity's website meant walking a line most redesigns don't have to: make it feel new, without making it feel unfamiliar. The platform had grown new products, new features, more for investors and users to do inside it. But the website hadn't grown with it. It still read as a single, flat experience, when the product underneath had become something bigger and more layered.

The risk was obvious: redesign too aggressively and you alienate the people who already trust the brand. Redesign too conservatively and the new products get buried, undersold, indistinguishable from what came before.

THE DIRECTION

THE DIRECTION

The idea that shaped everything: let color carry the story.

Instead of one visual language flattening every feature into the same look, each part of the product got its own color identity within a shared system. The site stopped feeling like a single static brochure and started feeling like a set of connected stories, each one signaling "this is something distinct" while still clearly belonging to GetEquity.

It solved the core tension directly: familiar structure, fresh energy. People could still find what they knew, but nothing on the site looked boring, and nothing new got lost in sameness.

Well, that's a lot of talk about color theory and strategy, but here's the part that actually matters: what it looks like
